Where is your Boldness?
Ephesians 3:12 Amplified Bible (AMP)
Reads:
...in whom we have boldness and confident access through faith in Him [that is, our faith gives us sufficient courage to freely and openly approach God through Christ].
Do you know that without boldness, the Saint is not walking in the glory and honor given to him by our Father, in Christ?
The word bold in the the above mentioned verse in the Bible is defined as follows:
parrhesia par-rhay-see'-ah
all out-spokenness, i.e. frankness, bluntness, publicity; by implication, assurance

Now let’s read the same verse again:
...in whom we have boldness and confident access through faith in Him [that is, our faith gives us sufficient courage to freely and openly approach God through Christ].
Is the context now clearer? Here are some other passages in which the same Greek word with its respective meanings also appear in the New Testament:
Acts 4:13 Amplified Bible (AMP)
Now when the men of the Sanhedrin (Jewish High Court) saw the confidence and boldness of Peter and John, and grasped the fact that they were uneducated and untrained [ordinary] men, they were astounded, and began to recognize that they had been with Jesus.
Boldness classifies us with Jesus Himself.
Hebrews 3:6 Amplified Bible (AMP)
but Christ is faithful as a Son over His [Father’s] house. And we are His house if we hold fast our confidence and sense of triumph in our hope [in Christ].
We are His house if we hold fast our BOLDNESS and sense of triumph in our hope [in Christ].
Hebrews 10:18-19 Amplified Bible (AMP)
Now where there is [absolute] forgiveness and complete cancellation of the penalty of these things, there is no longer any offering [to be made to atone] for sin.
Therefore, believers, since we have confidence and full freedom to enter the Holy Place [the place where God dwells] by [means of] the blood of Jesus,
by this new and living way which He initiated and opened for us through the veil [as in the Holy of Holies], that is, through His flesh,
We have BOLDNESS and full freedom to enter the Holy Place.
Hebrews 10:35 Amplified Bible (AMP)
Do not, therefore, fling away your [fearless] confidence, for it has a glorious and great reward.
Our fearless BOLDNESS has a glorious and great reward.
1 John 4:17 Amplified Bible (AMP)
In this [union and fellowship with Him], love is completed and perfected with us, so that we may have confidence in the day of judgment [with assurance and boldness to face Him]; because as He is, so are we in this world.
We have assurance and BOLDNESS to face Jesus Himself, even in the day of judgment, because as He is, so are we in this world.
Acts 4:29-31 Amplified Bible (AMP)
And now, Lord, observe their threats [take them into account] and grant that Your bond-servants may declare Your message [of salvation] with great confidence,
while You extend Your hand to heal, and signs and wonders (attesting miracles) take place through the name [and the authority and power] of Your holy Servant and Son Jesus.”
And when they had prayed, the place where they were meeting together was shaken [a sign of God’s presence]; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak the word of God with boldness and courage.
Prayer for BOLDNESS resulted in the physical manifestation of God’s Presence. Also,
being filled with [the power of] the Holy Spirit is likened to speaking the word of God with BOLDNESS and courage.
